Indoor Air Quality refers to the air quality within buildings and structures, especially as it relates to the health and comfort of building occupants.
We start with an initial walk-through, followed by detailed inspections and measurements. A report is then provided with recommendations for improvements.
Common issues include poor ventilation, high levels of pollutants, and malfunctioning HVAC systems.
The duration varies depending on the complexity of the issue but generally takes between a few hours to a couple of days.
Spots of suspected chemical residues were found on the electrical boxes located on the wall of the southeast office. EIS provided a written remediation plan for the client. The plan reviewed the steps, methods, and inspections to be conducted to assure that the IAQ problem would be completely abated.
EIS personnel inspected the HVAC system, conducted measurements of air flow, temperature, and relative humidity. Upon inspection, some immediate problems were noted and changes made.
